Background
Team Leaders are upper-class students at Georgia Tech who work with freshmen in GT 1000 sections. TLs serve as guides, mentors, and sources of information in new students' transition to college and Georgia Tech. My Role
Team Leaders are upper-class students at Georgia Tech who work with freshmen in GT 1000 sections. Terms when I was a Team Leader:
- Fall 2011: Under professor Ms. Shauna Nefos. I was leading a group of 5 students.
- Fall 2012: Under professors Mr. Greg King and Ms. Gwen Fernandes. I was leading a group of 4 students.
- Fall 2013: Under professors Mr. Greg King and Mr. Carl Rust. I was leading a group of 4 students.
My Role
- I had to present information about campus resources, opportunities at Georgia Tech, internships, co-ops and study abroad.
- Moreover, I had to make sure that all the students assigned to me are able to succeed in Georgia Tech's challenging curriculum and also get involved on campus.
